The 10th of the month falling on a Saturday, a new 90mm lens, a subscription to Lightroom, and two gadgets on loan (Fujifilm X-E2 and a Lensbaby Fisheye) = perfect storm for Ten on Ten yesterday!
All I wanted for Mother’s Day was a full day with my little bundle (just the two of us) and some time with my momma. I got both of my wishes. Yesterday, it was just Anderson and I. We met his girlfriend at the park, built a pillow tunnel, snuggled, and spent the rest of the time we had together outside running around in our yard (and our neighbors’ yards), blowing bubbles, and pretending to be big and scary dinosaurs. It was bliss. Though the tantrums of a two year old are difficult, two is also just over the top adorable for lack of a better descriptive word. The words and goofiness and sheer personality are funnier and more-smile inducing than I ever could have imagined and I’m in awe of the love he gives back to us now. He is so full of life, this child.
Today, I got to spend the day strolling around Boston with my sweet mom. I am blessed.
Here are my Ten on Ten photos from throughout my day yesterday, which turned into Eleven on Ten.

my very first Mother’s Day gift (from my parents): a peony taken with my new and gorgeous 90mm Tamron macro lens
And Happy Mother’s Day to my mom that is too amazing for words.
