This blog is a little bit of home, a little bit of food, and a little bit of momma.
I’d like to say that I have a big farm that we’re refurbishing on a winding stream with miles of vegetables growing. I’d like to be blogging from my big kitchen while waiting for my canning jars to cool.
Just because I’m not there in life yet doesn’t mean I can’t homestead a little and try to create the most natural life possible for myself and my family. I have a garden that I love. I cook as much as I can. I live a life that allows me to look an animal in the eyes and say “I’ve tried to help make your life better.” I’m also not perfect at all–nobody is perfect. This blog is to celebrate (in my words and the words of other great people in my life) the positive steps we are all taking, the wonderful vegetables we can grow, the delicious animal friendly meals we can eat, the little things we can do to make life more natural, and the respect that we can give to Mother Nature, one veggie at a time.

Hi Ashley – I did stop posting but someday I’ll get back to it. For now, I’ll follow your lovely blog!
Ha! I’ve stopped for a couple of months but will be starting again shortly, probably around the Winter Solstice. In the meantime, whatever you’re doing keep well and safe 😊🙋♂️
